RescueTime Empower: Business Time ManagementHow it WorksRescueTime Empower starts with a small application is installed on each employee's machine which measures only what software or web site is actively being used. Employees can pause the monitoring process at any time for 15 or 60 minute intervals. The account owner and any admin they assign can see a variety of reports showing how time is spent in the company, from aggregate reports showing the entire team, to custom groups showing smaller teams, to reports showing individual employee time. Each employee has their own dashboard, where they can see their own time compared to their typical peer (but cannot see other employee's individual data). As the account owner, you can establish what gets monitored and when. You can set monitoring schedules (like M-F, 9-5) and choose to only monitor the web sites that are important for your business or are known distractions. This data is processed in realtime "in the cloud", which means you don't have to set up any servers, databases, backup procedures, or anything else that takes you away from mission-critical work. You can literally be up and running in a few minutes. At any time, you can log into RescueTime to see deep and detailed reports on how you and your team is spending time and attention.
