Can I install RescueTime on more than one computer?

Yes, you can install RescueTime on any number of computers. After installing the app, log in with your RescueTime account credentials. Please note that all of your time will be aggregated and not separated by device. in your reports.

Does RescueTime have access to private information on the websites I visit?

No. RescueTime never records keystrokes, text entered into fields, or website content. It only looks at window titles to identify which apps and websites are active and never the content within them.

How do I block distracting apps and websites?

During Focus Sessions, RescueTime blocks any apps and websites that have a productivity level of Personal or Distracting. Activities are given a productivity level by default but can be customized on the Activities page.

Can I connect multiple calendars?

You can connect multiple Google calendars with our premium feature calendar sharing, if your other calendars are shared with the calendar connected to RescueTime. Only one Outlook calendar can be connected to your account.

What browsers does RescueTime support?

RescueTime supports Chrome (Windows, macOS), Firefox (Windows, macOS), Microsoft Edge (Windows, macOS), Safari (macOS), Arc (macOS only), and Brave. Firefox on macOS requires the RescueTime plugin.

How are websites and apps automatically tracked?

RescueTime runs in the background on your computer, collecting the window titles of the apps and websites you use.
